Past the first week!

I just noticed this is the 8th daily update. Which means I've been at this for over a week without missing a day! That's something to celebrate. With a decaf mocha (it's pretty late already) and nothing but TV and games for the rest of the night.

I thought about phoning it in today because I edited together the video for a talk I gave, and that was a lot of work. The talk was interactive, so it still counts? Anyway, I didn't go that route.  Maybe the video will pop up here in the future, though. It expresses all in one package a lot of the major emotional/creative undercurrents of my summer so far.

Tomorrow I open the bookstore where I work by myself for the first time—who knows if that leads to any Stream of Pretentiousness hi-jinx.
